Daring to be

Dearest ones,As I write this, I am about to unplug from the online and 24/7 available life for a few days. Something I really like to do and yet, I don't do as often as I'd like - or need. And that's been a BIG revelation for me in the last few months. How much I have starved my real needs, in the name of (insert your favourite reason here) - success, work, relationships, family, fears, believes....the list never ends.I have entered a relatively new-ish wave in my life, the one is not afraid of grieving deeply.

Of course I have encountered loss, death and other letting go's before, but this one feels profound, as if it has been finally able to touch the deepest, most tender and original parts of suffering - waking up a tsunami wave with it. And as much as that's been A LOT to be with, it's been so liberating as it has opened up a door for me to say - I've had enough of carrying all this baggage - the do's , the past, the futures - asking myself, when do I get a chance to be me?

To have a go at life without all of these entanglements? And here it's when it comes the light bulb moment - and the magic of incredible connections in my life (thanks Grace for the inspo!)  - that I needed time out, that I was ready to meet myself once again without the stories, narratives, expectations - without one of the strongest narratives I have been carrying with me until now:  "Would I still be loved if I don't give first, if I don't demonstrate that I deserve to be loved?"

So I am taking this sassy ass to a space where I can BE - in silence, with myself, in nature. In deep reflection, reverence for life and equal acceptance and gratitude for being here. For giving a damn, for having an open beating heart that cracks often and expands with every breath, to feel it all and embrace it all.I am embracing Spring, like the Aries baby I am, to be reignited by the fire of life. To allow what needs to burn to do so, and what needs to arise, to come forth.

And as I was writing yesterday, "what do we need to let go in us, so we have a chance to truly be?" I'm taking this big and gorgeous question with me to Thich Nhat Hanh Zen Master's Buddhist Monastery - open for any answers and clarity on what that means for me now; knowing it will keep evolving and changing as life does! When was the last time you reflected on "who are you?" and what the answer truly says about what you allow or not allow yourself to be.

Precious one. This is the time. Be bold, be brave and give yourself a shot. Because YOU are worth it. And because as we take this internal revolution, we can then take it everywhere we go. The world needs it. We need to liberate ourselves from all the oppressive systems we are in, we inhabit and we cage ourselves in. For us and for those who can't. For those who came before us. For those who will follow.

And that beautifully connects with the importance of giving ourselves space. To reflect, to get to know ourselves, to consciously choose what is our place in the world. This question "who am I?" will keep evolving and providing different answers as you flow and evolve in life. How could we live any differently?

Intentional living is crucial. To create an opportunity for a life that is more aligned, respectful and in harmony with nature - our lives depend on it. To create a chance at a life that is wholesome, nourishing and worth living - especially for those of us who have the privilege to ask themselves these questions - as we keep our hearts open to what the world is presenting today - with honesty, compassion and love.

The more that we are able to inhabit these spaces in ourselves, the more we can offer them to others. So we finally become home in our our bodies, in our own systems. And maybe, we adventure ourselves to create spaces and explore the universes within, as we heal, we grow, we learn, and we take that to the collective consciousness, contributing to collective healing - towards community, towards supporting each other, towards advocating for ourselves and those who are repressed or have lost their voices, towards more connection

Thanks for your always wonderful and kind support.

Enjoy the Spring comeback to life!

With all my love and gratitude,

Monica & team x
